Hello Everyone. I hope you are having a wonderful day/night. Alright, I have a lot to say so let’s get into it. First of all, thank you all so much for the funny/encouraging comments. The script fills, and the steady growth of Reddit followers. From the bottom of my heart, I will forever be grateful for that. So, as you may have noticed. I did a February script challenge, where I basically posted a script everyday for the past 28 days of the month. The results of that challenge? A success, having missed out on one day due to a sickness. I tried to do something similar in September last year, but that didn’t go well. As I mentioned in a previous post. I do not plan on reattempting something like this again any time soon. It’s a lot more stressful than it seems, and I feel like I cheesed it in a way.

Let’s talk a little more about that. So I initially teased that there were going to be five on going series that would be released throughout the month. The truth is, there is only four, and I never got the chance to properly write or even conjured an idea for a fifth one. So I am very sorry about misleading you. It was not my intention. Another thing, I wanted to start doing more commentary for my scripts. Go into further details about the writing process and certain details. I can add comments to the google docs, but it only share with the people who give an email, and I am not finna ask for that!

Okay. Now on to the more….uncomfortable stuff. First off, this not meant to be a direct attack towards any of the Vas, whether veteran or upcoming in any way shape or form. In fact, I am currently shooting myself in the foot for the this. Basically, I have made the decision that for the time being. I will only be posting One-Shot scripts to this subreddit. Why, you may ask? Well, I am going off the assumption that a majority of Vas prefer a script that can be done fairly quickly, and is not as SFX heavy. Which is one of the main elements/style of my scripts. Another perhaps could be views. There are many commenters out there hoping that there will be a part 2/continuation to a lot of the stuff that I have written. But sadly, according to Youtube’s view count, this is a small dedicated portion of people. Too many time I have come across an audio RP series that explodes in views for part 1, only for 75% of those views to suddenly be nonexistent for part two. Depending on the length of a series. The views for later installments can fluctuate significantly, but most of the time, nothing comes close to the view count for the first part of a series. It is sad but the nature of the algorithm it seems. (The same goes for Reddit as well).

Secondly. It’s honestly a little frustrating to write an entire series. Post multiple installments for multiple days and only have folks fill parts 1 or 2 of it. I would be lucky if they filled past second part. Even now, the Supervillian Takes You In series. Which is one of my earliest works have not been filled to it’s entirety. As of now, there is currently a VA which I have commissioned to complete the series in it’s entirety. Although they aren’t finished yet. I am grateful they are putting time and effort to put their own take/spin on it. Most of which has been better than the source material itself. And before you ask. No, I am not a fan of the idea on bombarding people DMs. Every time I post a new installment for a series I am working on. That will get old and annoying, and possibly blacklisted real quick. And yes, there are many script series that I have written that are incomplete. But there are some that are, and may never be filled completely until long past my due date for living on this planet. Again, this is not meant to be a personal attack of any sorts. As these things take time, and I say again like a broken record. Being a VA requires a lot more work being put in than a writer. So this is just a personal issue I need to address and one that I alone will have to deal with.

So for now on. I will only be posting one shots to this subreddit, and only. I mean only if I get enough comments about a sequel that I will consider the possibility of continuation. If I do write a series again, I will wait until I’ve written the whole thing completely and post it in it’s entirety. So that way, you not have to wait for the next installment/part to come out, and It will give me more time to work on /edit it. (Links to provide an example/template on how I will be writing a series for now on will be down below).

Will I do like a lot script of other writers and paywall my scripts on Patreon? Honestly, no. As cool as it to make a name for myself as a script writer in this community. I am not confident enough in my writing to start putting up scripts behind paywall and make others pledge a certain amount every month just to read a few lines of dialogue. If I did open a Patreon, it would be for something more, tangible and interesting. Honestly, I have accepted that I am a ghost writer of sorts, and they’re in fact a good chunk of jobs that deal with a ghost writer, and let’s be honest. People will recognize the voice actor more than the writer. It’s not anyone fault. That is just how it is.

And finally, will I continue to post scripts free to use here? Of course! The thing is, I am not putting a deadline or a date for when I do. My workaholic self already got a lot to do as it is, and I have a large amount of hatred for deadlines, but that’s just a personal thing and is something I am willing to work around if necessary. (Begrudgingly so). So yes, the swan haven’t sung their song yet so I will still be posting here from time to time. Just not everyday obviously.
