Context: You run into Nemona who of course wants to challenge you to a Pokémon battle. You agree, but with a caveat. If you win, she has to go on a date with you.

[Scene opens up with Nemona spotting you in the distance]

"Well now, Looks like my rival is having a Lovely Picnic with his Pokémon. Now's the perfect time to ask him if he's up for a battle."

[She begins to walk towards you, but stops]

"But what if he's not over the massive losing streak? If I recall, last time I had a losing streak like that; it took me at lest a few weeks to get back on my feet."

[She ponders as she scratches her chin, then she comes up with an idea]

"I know, I'll ask him how has his day been going? That way, I can avoid triggering something with him. If he say it's been good, I'll know he's up for a Pokémon battle. If he says better, He might not be up for a battle, but would consider it after a while..."

[She looks down and sighs heavily]

"If however he says something to the lines of; Same as last or not much better...I better stop all chances of battling him today."

[She tries psyching herself up]

"No, this is my rival. He's not willing to give up that easily...right?"

[She slaps her cheeks to prep herself up]

"Come on Nemona, this isn't like you. You use to handle rivals like this all the time. He's a great trainer. Who just so happened to hit a rough patch is all."

[She realizes that she could be walking into trouble.]

"Oh, what do I do? This use to be so simple when we use to battle."

[She tries one more time]

"Okay, I'll just walk up to him and simply go with the initial plan...and hope that option C isn't the case."

[She walks up to you, sweating bullets]

"Um...Hi."

[You notice she's really nervous as you respond with a Hi?]

"H-h-how's your day been going?"

[You ask if she's ok, as she turns as pale as a ghost Pokémon]

"*Inner monologue* Darn it, I did not expect that he would be worried about me. I should stay calm. It's not like I look completely flushed right? Ok, just say your fine and ask him the question again."

[You are getting nervous for her]

"I'm Fine buddy. Just...wanted to know...how has your day been going since we last talked...and all that."

[You say that your worried about her]

"*Inner monologue* Come on, Just tell me how's your day been going so I can get on with this."

[You walk up to her and feel her forehead to see fi everything's ok]

"Um, what are you doing?"

[You say to see if your ok]

"I'm just peachy. Just wanted to know how was your...day, is all."

[You ask if she wants to sit down]

"Honestly there is something I want."

[You ask her to sit down]

"*Inner monologue* Just answer the darn question! So I can go on and challenge-"

[SFX: Thud]

[You see Nemona Collapse on the grassy field and check to see if she's ok.]

[After some time, she comes to]

"Ugh...what happened?"

[You said that she fainted]

"Fainted?...But I didn't even battle you yet..."

[You ask if she's ok]

"I mean, I guess..."

[She takes a look at her body]

"No bruises or cuts. So, I'm grateful for that."

[Your glad that she's coming back to her senses]

"I just need to-"

[She tries to stand up only to still be a little nauseous and you insist that she remains sitting down for a moment]

"I'm telling you, I'm fine."

[You insist that she isn't]

"Okay, look. There was something I wanted to ask you, but I wanted to make sure that you are ok first."

[You ask what did she wanted to ask you]

"Oh, no, no, no, no. You have to ask me how was your day first]

[You decide to humor her and say it was going ok]

"Was? Was?! What do you mean was?"

[Sensing that she's a little ticked off you respond with you were worried about her.]

"*Blushes* Oh, um well...thank you for worrying about me anyways."

[Pause]

"So, outside of that. Everything good?"

[You nod]

"Good to hear."

[You ask if everything was ok?]

"Well..."

[She sighs and continues]

"Look, I knew that last time you really weren't in the mood for a Pokémon battle. I didn't want to force you to do something you wouldn't like. Especially if you didn't give me your A-game."

[You ask if she really wanted a Pokémon battle]

"Well, yeah. My Pokémon have been ready for a rematch for a very, very long time. You can't ignore their want and needs right?"

[She lifts one of your Pokémon up]

"I know they have been waiting for a rematch as well. You can't say no to this face, can you?"

[SFX: Pokémon cry]

"So, what do you say? Are you willing to battle your favorite rival?"

[You agree.]

"YES! Get ready for the-"

[You say on one condition.]

"Huh? One condition? Ok, I guess I can at least give you a little leeway. What's the condition?"

[You ask to promise not to be mad at this condition]

"*Snort* Mad, at you? Come on. It's not like your asking for something embarrassing right?"

[You say if you win, she has to go on a date with you.]

"Eh? Eh? EEEEHHHH?!?!"

[Her face turns bright red from embarrassment]

"A D-d-d-d-d-date? With you?"

[You nod]

"Um...Sure? I guess I could do that?"

[You seem ecstatic]

"*Inner monologue* Nemona, you idiot! Why did you agree to those terms? Are you so desperate for a Pokémon battle from him that you would agree to those terms?! *Thinks for a second* Ah, who am I kidding, of course I am."

[She stretches' and clears her throat]

"Don't think I will go easy on you. Just because you put a condition like that...If I so lose."

[She pauses for a second]

"*Looking down* Not that I would object to a date with you."

[She looks back up and throws her poke ball]

[SFX: Poke ball opening]

"Now, let's get started!"

[One butt kicking later]

"How? How did I lose?"

[You ask if she's ok]

"I...um...About that condition...What did you have in mind?"

[You ask if she's ok with it]

"Well, regardless of being ok or not. I got to own it. So, since I agreed to this I'll accept it. So what did you want to do?"

[She clears her throat]

"Or more accurately, where did you want to go?"

[You ask maybe dinner and a night on the town?]

"Dinner? and a night on the town?"

[She turns red again]

"Um...Sure, I can do that? When were you thinking?"

[You say Friday?]

"Friday it is?"

[You gather up your stuff and head on out waiving goodbye to Nemona]

"Bye...See you then, don't worry. I won't forget."

[Once your out of sight, Nemona kneels down]

"Augh! Why did I agree to that? And more importantly, why does he want to go out with me anyways? I mean, sure some guys did ask me out, once or twice. but why him?"

[She moans upsettingly]

"This is going to be rough. I don't even know what to wear. Let alone what to expect of this. I just hope that I don't mess it up."

[She scratches her hair and moans as it fades to black]
