SCRIPT HERE-approximately 1100 words

I'm pretty sure I mentioned this before, but I love learning about mythology and cultural mythos. Although out of the main mythologies that most people know at least a little about (Greek, Roman, Egyptian, ect.) Norse is the one I have the least experience with. I had to put in some extra research to make this script possible, but I think it was worth it!

Valkyries in mythology are an all-female race of people who are the daughters of Odin. They are very muscular, skilled fighters, and work as barmaids in Valhalla. They also scout battlefields and take the bravest warriors to Valhalla to become part of Odin's army (the Einherjar) and prepare for Ragnarok (the end of the world). They traditionally didn't have wings, that was an addition to make valkyries look more like depictions of Christian angels.

The idea for this script came from when I heard mental illness being described as a "war of the mind." That lead to me thinking about valkyries taking warriors to Valhalla, and I'm sure you can connect the dots. I'm happy with how this script turned out and I hope you like it too. Thanks for reading!
