Context: It's lunch, and the only seat you see available is next to Kara Danvers. Not to be rude, you ask if it's ok to sit next to her, and you two end up talking for a while.

[Scene opens with you grabbing your lunch and trying to find a table.]

[SFX: crowd talking]

[You go over to where Kara is sitting and ask if you can sit down here?]

"*Lifts down headset* Hm? Sorry, I didn't catch that."

[You ask the same question again.]

[She looks around]

"Oh, sure dude. Go right ahead."

[You thank her]

"Sure thing."

[You start to eat your lunch and ask her what she was listening to?]

"Oh, you know. A little rock, some grunge, and heavy metal? Why, you interested?"

[You mention that you sometimes listen to Swedish metal]

"*Chuckles* Woah, there. Never figure you for a Swedish metal type. Any band in particular?"

[You mention Sabaton]

"*Sigh* Should of figured. I mean, don't get me wrong, Sabaton is a pretty cool rock band but if that's the first one you say..."

[You asked for any band]

"True, I did kind of set myself up for that one...ok, let's say for argument; since you seem to enjoy Metal bands *under her breath* and since the first one you mention was Sabaton *Back to normal* Name me three metal bands you like to listen to. Don't worry, I'll count Sabaton as one."

[You mention Lordi and Avenge Sevenfold]

"Well now, that's definitely a different response. Lordi, and Avenge Sevenfold? You do realize Lordi is a Finnish rock band right?"

[You said that you know]

"Okay, okay. Just wanted to make sure you weren't trying to Impress me."

[You said you were just trying to do a little mild chit chat]

"Okay, fair. Sometimes waiting for the bell to go is often just as much as a drag as being here. Usually I do have my friends here."

[You ask where are they now.]

"*Shrugs* meh, probably off doing some activities or something."

[You apologize if your a bother]

"Nah, if anything I kind of like the company. I kind of have a "Reputation" of being a tough, unapproachable girl. So, to see you sit next to me; A fresh face and all, is kind of nice."

[You mention that it doesn't help that it's pretty backed up in here]

"Yeah, true. I bet if there was more room, you probably wouldn't be sitting here next to me."

[You said that's not entirely false]

"I knew it. I'll at least give you credit. Your the first one to admit it. Although hearing you say "Not entirely false" has got me a little curious."

[She gets closer to you]

"So tell me, what's the other reason?"

[You say that it's hard for you to sit next to girls]

"Well, we got a shy one over here. Tell you what. You can just think of me as one of the guys, that way it will be easier for you to sit next to me, Ok?"

[You say it's kind of hard]

"Huh? Why is it kind of hard? All the other guys seem to do so easily."

[You say that it's hard to see you as one of the guys]

"Don't tell me, you actually see me as a...well a woman."

[You nod]

"I...I see."

[She sips on her drink and thinks for a moment, slightly blushing]

"So, Uh...if you want, I can help you with your issues with girls. I know it might be hard considering you don't look at me as "One of the guys" but maybe we can hang out. As friends."

[You say really?]

"Well, sure. You don't seem to have that off of a taste for music. Not to mention you seem like a cool guy."

[You ask why other guys don't want to talk with you]

"*Laughs and snorts* Not so much talk as try to hit up on me. That being said however, I'm surprised considering by what you described yourself you would come across as they shy quiet type."

[You tell her that you are shy]

"you don't come across as quiet though. *leans in* let me guess, and introvert."

[You look away and nod]

"Yes, two out of three. Not bad for guesses today."

[Your getting a little nervous as she puts her arm around your shoulder]

"Hey, don't sweat it. I don't mind the socially awkward people. They usually just are too nervous to ask anything from me."

[She whispers in your ear]

"If you want, I can help you boost your confidence. Just...for...you~."

[You turn bright red as she starts laughing]

"Oh, man. The look on your face. I'm...I'm sorry, it was just too much."

[She dries her tears from laughing and takes a deep sigh]

"*Looking down* Just between us, I've been having a really rough day today. That kind of help me to get out of this...rough mindset."

[You ask what's wrong?]

"Well, I just...you know what, I don't want to bother you with my problems."

[You insist on listening]

"Well...It's my cousin. Mr. "goody two shoes", going on about "Taking responsibilities for my actions." and "Not being to reckless." I mean, he treats me like a kid. Even though...*Looking down* I kind of have some seniority over him."

[You pat her back gently trying to comfort her]

"Thanks dude, I appreciate it."

[SFX: Bell ringing]

"Well that's the end of lunch, I'll see you around."

[You ask her to wait for a second]

"Hm? What's up?"

[You ask if she want's to exchange numbers]

"Exchange numbers? Yeah, sure. I'm down with that."

[She takes out her phone and exchanges numbers with you]

"I'll give you a call later, ok?"

[You nod]

"Great see ya later."

[She walks off, but comes back]

"Oh, almost forgot."

[She hugs you]

"Even if you need me to be your wing girl, I got you. I'll help you out to come out of your shell. Who knows, maybe you'll get a cute girlfriend."

[she laughs as she goes from a hug, to arm wrapped around you]

"I know, me being an optimist. Who knows though, maybe "The one" is just around the corner."

[You two walk together for a bit until you go to your classes]

"Anyways, I have to go down here. Be sure to keep what I said in mind. I'll see ya later."

[She walks away as it fades to black]
