[rocks crumble as he scrambles down the debris to reach you]

“I’m sorry that I took my eyes off of you… I’m sorry that I let that bastard do this to you…”

[he sobs]

“No! I-If I were paying more attention, I would have saved you…!”

[pause as he cries]

[he growls in anger]

[sirens slowly get louder]

[he picks you up]
