Context: While you are out with your friends, you run into the Mermaid who is teaching you how to swim. Trying to keep your cool and keeping up the ruse that you can swim you ask her to pretend to be your girlfriend

Part 1

[Scene opens up with you going into a coffee shop with your friends]

"Hmm. Nothing like a cup of Jasmine tea to perk me right up. Now I'll be ready for those kids. *looks down at cup of tea* Now if I can just sit back, relax and enjoy the ambiance"

[She see's you getting a coffee with your friends]

"Oh, it's that guy I'm teaching how to swim."

[She rolls over in her wheelchair to talk to you]

"Hey there, how are things going?"

[You see his friends asking her who she is?]

"Oh, me? Well I'm her-"

[She gets interrupted by you pulling her away]

"Ah-Hey, Wait! What are you doing?"

[You pull her to the side and ask her not to tell about your swimming practice]

"Well, Duh! I'm not going to rat you out and say that you can't swim."

[You say really?]

"Of course, I'm not that type of mermaid. I wouldn't do that to you."

[You also realize she's in a wheelchair]

"Oh, you just notice. Well, flopping around isn't a really flattering image. Don't you think?"

[You agree to that]

"Yeah. So, the wheelchair comes in handy. Best part of all, people don't know that I'm a mermaid. So I can be left alone."

[You ask if people pester you about being a mermaid]

"Well, more kids. Girls specifically. They see a mermaid and they...go...CRAZY!"

[You say okay, okay]

"I'm sorry. It's just...*sighs* they can be a real pain sometimes"

[You say that you can imagine]

"I mean it wouldn't be too bad if it was once a while, but moment people find out I'm a mermaid it's all Ooo a mermaid and Are you a princess like Ariel? Do I even Look like Ariel?"

[You calm her down a little]

"Thanks, I appreciate it. Anyways, what are you doing here?"

[You say that this place has the best coffee]

"Best coffee huh? Well, I guess I could see that. Personally I'm more of a tea girl, but to each their own. So, I take it those are your friends?"

[You say yes]

"They seem nice. Aren't you going to introduce me?"

[You say there's an issue]

"An issue? Like you didn't tell that I'm a mermaid?"

[You say more like you didn't tell them that she's your swimming teacher]

"Not your swim-Okay. I guess that can be fair, but those are your friends right?"

[You say right]

"There going to figure out sooner or later that your taking swimming lessons. So why not sooner?"

[Your not sure]

"Hey, there your friends. I'm sure they'll understand."

[You have your doubts]

"Hey, trust me. They'll understand. If they don't, than there not really worth being friends."

[You say ok]

"So, what did you say I was. Just out of curiosity?"

[You say that she isn't going to like it]

"What? Did you tell them that I'm a mermaid?"

[You say no]

"And you didn't tell them that I was your swimming teacher."

[You say yeah]

"So, what did you say I was?"

[You look away a little frightened by what she might say]

"Hey, I'm not here to judge. If anything, you should feel comfortable telling me anything. Trust me, I've heard it all in my tenure."

[You say that you told them that she is your girlfriend]

"You what?!"

[You said that you told them that she is your girlfriend]

"You told them that I am your girlfriend?"

[You nod]

"But...but what about that cute girl that we were talking about last time? Didn't you want to impress her or something?"

[You said yes, but calling her your girlfriend just happened by accident]

"Accident? Accident?! No, no, no, no. Slipping and scraping your knee is an accident. Upchucking your lunch on the floor is an accident. This...This...This is..."

[She's trying to regain her composure but you can see she's absolutely livid]

"*deep breath in and out* You know what, we'll just deal with it for now. I'll pose as your girlfriend for now. *Pulls you closer* But you better tell them the truth As soon as possible, GOT IT?!"

[You nod nervously]

"Good."

[She rolls up to the other guys and reaches out her hand to introduce herself]

"Hello, I'm Cari. I assume you have heard about me. So what's your names?"

[She hears their names as she shakes their hands]

"Oh, cool. Nice to meet you all."

[They return the comment]

"So, I take it that you all assume that, I know your friend here."

[They nod and say that your his girlfriend]

"*Nervous laugh* Yeah, that's right. I'm...His girlfriend."

[They say that why don't you seem all lovey dovey together]

"Huh? Why don't we act more lovey dovey? Well...I...Um-"

[You interrupt her by saying she's more of a tomboy and stuff like that is awkward for her]

"*Perking up to what you said* Y-yeah, he's right. Being a Tomboy like myself, is kind of embarrassing and awkward for being all romantic like that."

[They say ok, cool then. They bought it]

"*under her breath* Whew, they bought it."

[The friends say that they have to go and you say you'll catch up with them in a second]

"Oh, uh...sure. Well, it was nice meeting you all."

[You apologize for doing this but thank her for it, she looks at your friends nervously. Once there out of sight she pulls you in closer]

"You...Owe...Me...BIGTIME!"

[You say that you know and that you appreciate it]

"Anyways, don't be late with the practice later today. I don't want you to skip on any important stretches' or exercises, and before you say it; Yes that does include leg day."

[You say that you didn't say anything]

"I know what you were thinking and you were thinking of leg day. We're not going to skip it."

[you apologize again]

"*Sigh* What's done is done, but I have a feeling that they might be watching us right now."

[She looks over to see them gawking at you and her]

"Yup. Like clockwork. Alright, we got to make this look good. First hug me."

[You look in confusion]

"Don't just stand there hug me."

[still puzzled]

"*Moan* Do I got to do everything here? Come here."

[She pulls you closely and hugs you tightly]

"They still looking?"

[You say yes]

"*Sigh* They probably won't leave you alone until we go through with this."

[You ask with what]

"Let me just say I'm sorry in advance."

[before you ask why she kisses you, deeply]

"Are they still watching?"

[You say no]

"Figures, after a few seconds of public affection, they immediately turn away."

[You ask why is she doing this for you]

"*blushing* Well, I...I...I had to do something similar for one of my brother. I'll spare you the embarrassing details, but I had to pose as his girlfriend once."

[You don't decide to probe any further]

"Yeah, it's best if we let it be. So, I'll see you later in the pool?"

[You nod]

"Good. See you later~!"

[you start to blush before she wheels away]

"Man, I love messing with guys like you. You get so flustered easily."

[Fade to black]
