[Scene opens with the Dragon girl entering the training arena]

[SFX: Gates opening and closing]

[The dragon girl clears her throat]

"Royal Knights...*under her breath* and local bureaucrats and Monarchy's, *Back to normal talking* I stand before you today, because if I was behind you; none of you would see me."

[Pause]

[SFX: Coughing]

"Ahem, Anyways. It is my great pleasure to be your opponent today. Some of you may suffer, bruises, tears, and other bodily issues. While some of you will show your true merit. Many of you will fall, but it's a sacrifice...I am willing to make."

[Silence follows that remark as no one is laughing at her jokes]

[She whispers to her writer]

"I told you I shouldn't open up with Jokes. This crowd is more dead than the local cemetery."

[The writer says that they were trying to break the ice]

"Well, your attempt of breaking the Ice just gave us a longer winter."

[Pause]

"Augh! The bad puns are starting to rub off."

[She goes back to the crowd of Knights]

"Anyway; I look forward to sparring with each and every one of you."

[They all cheer in excitement]

[She walks away and sits in a break room]

"Geeze, I should really fire the guy who thought of those dumb puns. I mean, that's why I even hired him. To show that I'm not an intimidating Dragon girl."

[SFX: Papers shuffling]

"Okay, who's my first opponent."

[She looks through the documents]

"eena meena mina moe, Catch a mouse by the toe; If he squeals let him go, Eeena...meena...mina... You."

[She pulls out a file and sends it to the messenger]

"This will be my first opponent. Send them to the arena right away."

[After many failed attempts by the new trainee's she grows tired]

[She yawns]

"Seriously, is this all that they can offer? Might as well send the last one."

[Pause]

"I said, Might as well send the last one."

[Silence for what seems like an eternity to her]

"SEND IN THE LAST ONE!"

[The messenger comes up to her and whispers in her ear]

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE DOESEN'T WANT TO COME OUT?!"

[You can hear her growl and moan as she goes back in order to bring you out]

"All right, Where are you?"

[Currently hiding in one of the lockers, you remain silent]

"I know your here. Come on out!"

[Silence]

"This is really getting annoying."

[You refuse to come out of your hiding spot]

"*Sigh* I just know I'll be docked pay with him missing."

[She kicks a pebble away]

"Maybe I can *sweet talk the captain to reconsider...*Nah, last time that happed I got a lament from my parents on "Not using your charm to persuade the humans"

[She sits down on one of the benches]

"Man, where is this guy?"

[You sneeze in your hiding spot]

"gesundheit."

[She just realized that she said gesundheit to someone and opens the locker that your in]

"There you are~!"

[The menacing look sends chills down your spine]

"Now, It's time...For you...To face me!"

[She tries pulling you out of the locker but you resist]

"Come...On! What's the big deal?"

[You refuse to fight her]

"Why? Does the thought of fighting a Dragon really frighten you?"

[You say that's half the reason]

"Half the reason, well what's the other half?"

[You say that she a girl]

"Because I'm a girl. So?"

[You state that your mother said to never hit a girl]

"Oh, I see. The old "Don't you dare hit another girl" routine. Which I get it, hitting a woman is considered a faux pas even by dragon standards."

[She pulls up a seat and sits down next to you]

"Tell you what, is your mother out there in the audience now?"

[You nod]

"Let's say I have a word with her. If I get her ok, and proof of it you'll fight me. Ok?"

[You say your more inclined to fight her with your mother's permission]

"Okay, I'll be right back."

[She walks out of the locker room where you are hiding and she runs into your mother you hear their muffled conversation]

"Oh, you must be looking for the last night"

[She nods]

"Well, It seems that you raised him too well. He won't fight me without your consent."

[She asked how she knew that she was the mother?]

"Well, he does look young enough to still be needing your guidance. Most knight trainee's still need to reside in the house they were born in. Only until they become full fledge knights can they stay in the barracks."

[She surprised that the dragon girl knows the custom here]

"The captain informed me that most knights can't afford to live on their own. Only when they get a pension do they live outside the barracks. From what I gathered, the barracks are for Knights only "No acceptations" according to him."

[She hands the girl a small teddy bear]

"Hm? What's this?"

[She says that she gives her child permission to fight you, and this teddy bear is proof that it's her]

"Oh, I get it. This little teddy bear was his. So, to prove that I talked to you..."

[She says exactly]

"Now I see. Also, about this fear of dragons with him."

[She explains why]

"Oh, wow. Bullied by some dragon boys. Yeah, that would do it."

[Pause]

"Tell you what, I'll talk to him. If he doesn't' want to fight me, I understand. We'll call it a day. You go back to the stands. I'll be sure to let him know."

[She comes back in and see you still in the locker]

"I take it you heard all of that?"

[You nod]

"Okay then..."

[She hands you the teddy bear]

"So you know that I wasen't fibbing."

[You look at the teddy bear]

"This teddy bear was yours right? She gave it to me. She said something about it being your guardian "Against the wickedness of the world" *snicker* Don't mind me, It's just it sounds like you wanted to be a knight even at a young age."

[your hesitant on taking the bear]

"Go on, I won't steal it from you."

[you gently take the bear]

"So what do you want to do? Would you be willing to spar with me?"

[You nod as you squeeze the bear]

"Hey, don't force yourself if you don't have to."

[You say if you don't it's like the bullies won]

"If you don't do this, it's like the bullies won? I...Um...Come here."

[You look confused]

"Just come here for a second."

[She grabs you and hugs you gently]

"I know this comes across as awkward coming form your sparring partner, but the fact that even though your afraid and willing to still face me..."

[she looks down slightly depressed looking]

"Your braver than I ever was."

[She gently kisses you on the forehead]

"Tell you what, Let's make things interesting."

[You ask how]

"How? Well, let's have a wager; If I win I get to confiscate that teddy bear from you..."

[You look down at the teddy bear and ask her what does he get if he wins?]

"What do you get? Well, I...I will grant you one thing. It can be anything within my power. Status, money, fame, glory. You want it, you got it. Deal?"

[she reaches out your hand and you wonder if you are willing to shake it, but end up doing so.]

"Alright, it's a deal then~!"

[She drags you to the arena]

[SFX: Arena cheering]

"NOW EVERYONE, THE FINAL CHALLENGER!"

[SFX: Roars and some boo's at you]

[She whispers in your ear]

"Your probably wondering what all these people are doing here. Well, it's not everyday that you get to see a dragon girl. As well as everyday that the knights allow the commoners to see the training process. So you better put on a show~!"

[She goes to one side of the arena as you go to the other]

"Now warrior, CHOOSE YOUR WEAPON~!"

[You look at the weapons and end up choosing a sturdy shield]

"A Shield huh? That's not even a weapon!"

[SFX: Arena laughing]

"Very well, let the match commence"

[The fight goes on as a time laps ensues and you are victorious with one fell swing of your shield]

[SFX: metal hitting a hard surface]

[She's knocked out cold for a brief moment as the crowd goes wild]

[SFX: Crowd cheering]

"Ugh...Well, I guess we have a winner. *under her breath* I'll be it a lucky shot"

[She limps over towards you and whispers in your ear]

"Well, a deal's a deal. What do you want?"

[You whisper in her ear that you want her to be your girlfriend]

"G-girlfriend...Me? Why?"

[You say that she was the first person not a relative to show compassion towards him]

"Really, no one else showed you compassion?"

[You did say anything in her power]

"*Sigh* Well, I guess that technically does count. We'll work out a date for the two of us later. Okay?"

[You agree]

"Good~! See ya later handsome~!

[You turn bright red]

"*Laughs* Couldn't help taking one jab at you before we go."

[Fade to black]
