Context: Gator (The Tomboy Test Pilot), Waits for you at the event, and when the other test pilots make fun of her about actually having a date (and weather she bribed them), you stated that you simply went because she asked. She also at this event confesses to you, to which you reciprocate as liking her as well.

[Scene opens up at the event]

[Gator is taking in deep breaths in and out]

"Okay Gator, just calm down. They agreed to meet me at this event, and they won't go back on the agreement. Right?"

[She tries to calm down a little more as she see's some big name Pilots]

"Oh...my...Goodness...is that Buzz Aldrin talking to David Scott? Okay Gator calm do-oh my goodness, Charles Duke, sharing a drink with Eileen Collins? This...Is...Awesome!"

[She starts getting excited by some big names being here]

"Okay, okay, okay. Just relax Gator, your no different than many of these people here. Your a Test Pilot as well..."

[Pause]

"...In front of a bunch of legendary, amazing, and cool Aviators as well."

[She falls into a little bit of despair feeling like she isn't worthy being in this room]

"Man, I feel so out of place here. It's just...looking around at these great Pilots...I...I.."

[You sneak up behind her as she let's out a little "Eep"]

"It's you. Don't scare me like that. I'm on edge as it is right now."

[You apologize for being late]

"That's fine I guess. At least no one really noticed."

[You say how pretty she is in that dress.]

"Oh, you think so? I was worried that it be too simple. Although I think green is my color."

[You smile as she slightly giggles]

"That being said, you dressed up nicely yourself."

[You thank her]

"Hey, I wouldn't say it unless it was true."

[Slight silence]

"I...Uh.. your probably wondering about this event, right? I mean, Valentines day and all."

[You mention that it did cross your mind]

"Well, for a lot of these people. Getting an event this large would of taken a lot of time. Not to mention, working around everyone's Schedule. It just so happened that it all fell on February 14th."

[You seem like it's too suspicious]

"I know, seems like it would be too "On the Nose" for all of this to fall on Valentine's day. It's just how it worked out. To show you how long it has taken, let me show you the initial draft of when to have the event."

[SFX: clipboard shuffling]

"What, It's efficient and unlikely to get lost if the power goes out."

[pause]

"Here it is."

[She hits the clipboard and shows you]

"Every big event has been booked for the entire year except this one. It seemed like everyone didn't mind spending time over here with their dates in toe. Just seemed to work for everyone. The only drawback was to not make it too awkward for anyone, they made it "Mandatory" to have a date."

[You act as if it makes sense but still confused]

"*Sigh* Listen, to most of the pilots who are married or dating, you can't really go out and say "Hey, can you come here alone and leave your significant other behind on arguably one of the most Important day of the year." It just doesn't have a selling point, right?"

[you mention birthdays and anniversaries]

"I said "One of". Although, I feel like Birthdays and and Anniversaries are more important, but not to others. There like "don't you dare forget about Valentine's day." and get up all in your grill."

[You pause and wonder what she just said]

"To make a Very long story short, one of my navigators was dating a girl like that. I told him, "Dude, have you ever heard of a thing called "Red flags"?" and he said "Yeah, why?" I was just about to smack him but regained my composure and said; "That's the Biggest Red Flag that you can possibly get, especially after a first date,"

[You say is that really that big of an issue]

"Well, it wouldn't be...accept that was the first thing she said."

[You respond with yikes.]

"I know."

[Pause]

"So anyways, I do appreciate you coming to this event with me. Even though I pretty much had to beg you for it."

[You say it's fine]

"I know it's one of those things that doesn't need to bear repeating, but...I do really mean it. Thank you."

[You reassure her that it is indeed fine]

"I do appreciate at least one of us has a cool head right now."

[She hears someone say ask Is that really your date?]

"Wait, Um.... Hold on a sec. Who asked if this is my real date? Come on, spill it?"

[Silence as Gator looks at you]

"I know this might be on the spot but kiss me."

[You look at her as if to say Excuse me?]

"Look, I'll pay you back for this. Just to make them stop denying that I manage to actually have gotten a date. Or perhaps the thought of kissing me is so appalling that you don't want to."

[You agree but that she owes you one]

"Thanks, don't worry. I'm good with my word."

[She leans in and kisses you]

"There, you can ask what you want in return for that kiss."

[You raise an eyebrow]

"I-I mean, I promised that I'd pay you back. Oh, maybe a new issue of a Shoen Jump manga, or some Idol figures, or maybe-"

[You stop her and just say seeing her in the dress is payment enough]

"Oh, um... *Looks down blushing* T-thank you."

[You hear some slow music playing and you ask her if she would care to dance]

"D-Dance? I...I love to."

[The two of you slow dance for a bit.]

"Truth be told, there was another reason I asked you to this event."

[Your intrigue to find out why as she leans into you]

"It's because...I...I love you."

[You let out a little snicker as she smack's you gently]

"I'm serious. It's hard for me to get this emotion across, but the first time we met. I just though, you were so dashing. I couldn't keep my eyes off of you. When I got to know you, although you come across as stubborn, you have a kind heart."

[She looks up to you]

"I know that you probably wouldn't fall for a tomboy like me, but a girl can dream...Right?"

[She tries to hold back the tears as you gently rub them away]

"Man, I seem to be a wreck right now. Worst of all, it's in front of a few hero's of mine. *Under her breath* the one's who are alive anyway."

[You say it's fine]

"Sometimes I wonder if it is really fine. I mean, the two of us; slow dancing. What if-"

[You lean in and kiss her as well. Saying you love her too]

"Huh? Y-you love me too? B-but.."

[You ask but what?]

"But whenever we talk you always seemed so cold."

[You state that you have been lead on before]

"Oh, I guess that makes sense. The thought of being lead on can be bothersome. Truthfully, I can relate. Too often guys just see me as either "One of the guys." or "A girl that's hateful of them." Honestly, I'm neither. I just grew up with them, so I know how it is, what they think of. If you know what I mean?"

[You say that you do]

"Anyways, Want to hang out after this? We don't have to do anything fancy, just chill."

[You nod]

"Cool, but first...I have to meet Buzz."

[you look at her as if to say, really?]

"What it's a one in a lifetime opportunity. Hey Buzz.."

[Fade to black]
