Context: After your 50th loss in a row you spend some time alone, letting out your frustrations when a Hex Maniac notices you and decides to help you out

[Scene opens up with you by a bridge in a forest, finish up a crying session you just had alone]

[SFX: Water running and wind blowing]

"Oh, a Trainer. Maybe a possible new friend. I have been waiting to make a new friend, or A friend for that matter."

[She walks closely to you and she gently taps you on the shoulder]

"Hello, young traveler."

[You turn around briefly forgetting that you were crying earlier as your eyes are still red and puffy]

[SFX: Gasp]

"Oh. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you that upset."

[You turn away quickly and rub your eyes trying to reduce the puffiness and say that it's fine]

"Well, clearly it is not fine."

[she starts to give herself a monologue to herself outload]

"Oh, you've done it now "Hex Maniac" You went and made the only interesting looking trainer cry. I mean sure, I have made people gasp and scream, but never cry. Oh no, Oh no, Oh no. Can this get any worse?"

[You realize that she seemed pretty upset and gently tap her on the shoulder]

"Huh? Oh, sorry. Um, did you hear any of that?"

[You mention you have heard all of it.]

"All of it, huh? Well, I guess the Meowth's out of the bag now. Um, is there any chance that you won't tell anyone about that?"

[You state as long as she doesn't tell anyone about you crying]

"As long as I keep quiet about you crying? I guess there is no issue there. It's a deal"

[She goes to reach out your hand, and realize that she might of overstepped her boundaries]

"Oh, I'm sorry. I might of done something bad. We haven't even introduced to each other, and here I am offering to shake your hand before I even say who I am. "

[She clears her throat and gets out her crystal ball]

[SFX: Clears Throat, and shimmer of crystal ball]

"As you can see young traveler. I am a Hex Maniac. My specialty is ghost Pokémon. What is your name?"

[You mention your name]

"It...Suits you. A really handsome name for a really Handsome trainer."

[You ask for her name]

"M-m-m-m-m-my name? Well..."

[She looks down as her face turns bright red, as she gently whispers her name]

"Becky"

[You couldn't hear her so you ask her to repeat it]

"It's Becky."

[She says as her face turns bright red of embarrassment]

"I Know what your probably thinking, with a name like that I should probably have blonde hair and a lot of Fairy type Pokémon, not Ghost right?"

[You think it's a cute name, like her]

"Me? Cute?"

[She is even more red than before]

"Thank you, but I think we're getting off topic now. Tell me, why were you here all alone...in the middle of the night, in the woods, by this creek?"

[You are surprise to know that it is night]

"Wait, How long have you been out here?"

[You mention that it was afternoon when you were crying]

"Wait, You have been crying for Hours? Oh, man. Um, forget it. Come here."

[You look in confusion as she states slightly irritated again]

"I said, come here."

[She pulls you in and hugs you. as her mind races to what she just did]

"*Inner monologue* What did I just do? I just brought this guy closer to me, and we're now hugging? What's wrong with me? I'm never this forward before."

[She clears her throat]

"Um, if this is too awkward please let me know. Okay?"

[You hug her tightly as she let's out a little gasp in surprise]

"Oh, I guess you don't mind me hugging you then."

[She hears you crying gently in her chest as she rubs your back gently]

"There, there. It's ok. It's ok. Just let it all out."

[She shushes you and gently hugs you as you let it all out. You look up at her an apologize for doing this]

"Hey, It's ok. Sometimes we just need someone to hold us, and to reassure us that It will be ok. *Under her breath* Although it easy for me to say, not so much to receive"

[You finish up your remaining tears, wiping them away you thank her]

"*giggle* no need to thank me, I'm sure anyone would probably do the same thing."

[You mention that none of them have and that she is the only one.]

"Really? Well, not to change subjects, but any reason you have been crying this long?"

[You mention that you have been on a losing streak as of late]

"Losing record huh? Yeah, I can relate. My worst record is 25 in a row. So, how bad was yours?"

[You look down and say 50]

"50, Seriously?"

[You look down as if your about to cry again]

"Oh, no. I didn't mean it like that, hey please don't cry again. It's just...man I'm really bad at giving pep talks aren't I?"

[You at least thank her for trying.]

"Well, I appreciate your kindness towards me anyways. I have got to admit. I initially came over to see...If you would be my friend?"

[You give her a big hug, surprising her again saying that of course you'll be her friend.]

"Eh? Really? I'm not to creepy for you to have as a friend?"

[You mention that her creepiness' doesn't bother you because she's a nice person.]

"You don't care that I'm creepy, because I'm a nice person? Really?"

[She starts to cry tears of joy]

"I'm just so happy, This is the first time someone was willing to be my friend. To top it all off, one who doesn't care if I am creepy. "

[She smiles brightly and holds you gently]

"Don't let all those losses bother you. Like many things in life, this too shall pass. You'll be back in a winning streak and colleting badges before you know it."

[she notices it's getting colder]

"Say, It's getting awfully chilly out here. How about you stay at my place. Of course your Pokémon are welcome to rest up as well."

[You nod in agreement]

"You will? Perfect, right this way then."

[The two of you walk into the woods as it fades to black]

Note: Can't help but doing something Wholesome with the Hex Maniac. It's my favorite Trainer type. Not sure if she still gets the love that she deserves, but I think it's a really cool character.
