1) Why do you think Dantès sends Jacopo for news of his father and Mercedes instead of going directly to Marseille himself?
2) Does Dantès’ purchase of his childhood home seem like an act of innocent nostalgia or of unhealthy obsession?
3) As do many other names in TCoMC, the pseudonym Lord Wilmore fits its character quite snugly; do you think Dumas means it in a positive light or in a negative light?
