New to this game. Can anyone give me advice on where to learn everything?

Also a couple questions: what is the online like? It seems to me that I have to have my switch right next to the router to get a good connection, is there a good work around? Also is this game limited by not using motion controls? Is there moves you just can't do, or is it just as easy?
