Too many Mobs

Hello, I'm not sure if the mods I have an effect on this but there is a cave around the center of the center map that has SO MANY SPAWNS that I get about 20 fps near it. It's a cave right by a beaver pond around 50 lat, 60 lon. Any help would be nice (like a way to slow down the spawns since they are enemies that can kill me off the dinos.
