Hey, gang.
I recently bought a 5600XT, nothing amazing just a nice new middle of the road card. I am coming from a R9 380x, which was able to maintain 55-65fps on Ark at all times. Hadn't played the game since before buying my new GPU and a friend and I decided to check out the new map to get a feel for it and start a casual game.
Upon doing this, my performance was absolutely abysmal. The map loaded in, and I was sitting at 20fps and thought "Ah, the initial render is always like this for Ark," but it never swayed off of this. At this point, I assumed the game had altered my settings, which it had. However, even after changing them to what they were with a five year old card, the game still did not climb much beyond 20fps. After this, I began troubleshooting settings, assuming one of the boxes checked or settings turned up needed to be changed for the 5600XT, but to no avail. I even began trying ridiculous setting configurations, but that didn't help either.
Basically, I can play the game in 480p with 24fps, or 4K with 24fps, and no idea why this is happening as all other titles I have been playing (Rainbow 6, Valorant, Monster Hunter, Black Desert, and Metro Exodus) have been behaving wonderfully on this gpu. Any advice is appreciated and specs are listed below:

XFX 5600XT
16GB G.Skill, 3200MHz

2TB Seagate Barracuda
