Building tricks? (PS4)

I’ve been trying to learn some building tricks. Some practical ones. And some for aesthetics like how to build with pillars without them sticking through the ceiling much.
Ive been looking for videos on some building techniques that are simple but effective.
I would like to get into using the catwalks more often as I don’t really use them. Same with fence foundations.
Does anyone have any tips they could share?
If you have seen videos you’d like to share that’d be helpful too.
Most videos that I’ve seen so far are things I’ve pretty much learned on my own so far.
