During the past months we have seen an increase in toxicity targeting many creators on this sub. This needs to stop. If you don’t like the ARG but it at least has some sense of quality and effort, don’t downvote it. You discourage potential amazing creators. This has to do with both toxicity and gate-keeping. Stop destroying what really could be works of art. It’s disrespectful and not what this sub is. r/ARG is built by creators, for creators and players alike. We know that many here only find a few of the daily posts interesting, but please remember that others might like the thing that you dislike. Setting up sub rules is a balance that must not favor one particular kind of post over another. If you see something that you are unhappy about or dislike, it is important that you do so in a respectful manner, and if it is a general thing then check discord #suggestions-and-questions and we will be happy to talk to you about it.

Starting today the mod team will be punishing toxicity, non-moderator policing, and gatekeeping. These rules will be added to the sidebar in the coming days as well. This behavior has no place in r/ARG. Just to be clear, we do not disallow discussion or disagreements, it is the direct and uncalled for attacks that we cannot tolerate.
