Hi everybody! My question is pretty much what the title says. I have no first-hand experience with nutritional yeast, but Iāve seen a lot of vegan youtubers add it to their meals and I thought Iād try it. However, when I went to order it, I saw that is was being marketed as āvegan cheeseā and having a strong cheese-like flavor, and my problem is that cheese is an extremely unsafe food for me. I canāt eat cheese-flavored things that donāt contain actual cheese either. Well, Iāve eaten crackers with mild cheese flavor before because I had to, but I did not enjoy it at all :D I would still like to at least try nutritional yeast, but I donāt want to throw the whole pack away if I end up not liking it, so Iād rather not buy it at all if the taste is actually similar to cheese. Iām also afraid the smell will throw me off.
(for reference, I was going to try adding it to creamy soups and stuff like that so it would be blended into a smooth consistency)
