Made an instant soup, ate a few bites, had a panic attack and threw the rest away. A few hours later decided to make something I consider safe and started freaking out anyway

Something about the texture of the soup and I think the tomato sauce upset me. I haven't eaten it before but I managed to eat a few new things yesterday without freaking out so I thought it would be okay. It wasn't. I convinced myself I was having an allergic reaction and had a full on panic attack.

It's been a few hours and I decided to make something I'd eaten often enough to consider safe. I did finish it but now I'm experiencing that rush of anxiety, although not nearly as bad as the fiasco before.

Sometimes even safe foods don't feel safe enough.
