Hi all,
I've struggled for over 20 years with ARFID symptoms and have never been able to properly describe my relationship with food to anyone. I've met with multiple therapists/nutritionists over my life pinning various loosely related disorders, but today, I came across a TikTok explaining ARFID and I am feeling so many things about it.
Curious of what helped folks when they first got diagnosed and how to wrap your head around it. So glad to be feeling less isolated but having trouble sitting with the idea that there's a name for something I've dealt with basically my whole life.
