Just recieved a letter in the post, I got accepted into treatment. They didn't state which treatment but during my 2 assessments, I pushed to recieve outpatient treatment and on the 2nd visit, lost weight since the first appointment. The day programme (outpatient) is for 3 months.
Has anyone had any experiences in an outpatient programme? How was the experience? I know it'll run throughout the week and we get breakfast, lunch and snacks. Some psychology /group sessions too.
I'm apprehensive but excited! There is a long waiting list ,so I may not start until next year but I'm happy to finally be able to try and beat/manage AFRID (not sure if it can be cured but I'm hoping to be able to consistently eat 2 meals snacks) and then be able to build up from there.
