So I've had ARFID due to S/A & R, toxic marriage at the time. I'm in a healthy relationship now, BUT I recently had my partner cut up a cheeseburger for me into quarters. He was very encouraging/patient with me as I was only able to get 2 small bites in out of the quarter piece and it ALWAYS takes me forever to swallow due to my fear of choking. I get so frustrated with myself and I wait until my mouth fills up with saliva and all the little bits of textures are completely gone then I swallow. How do you overcome this? I miss Solid food so bad, because I'm on an all liquid diet consisting of smooth fruit smoothies(Naked Juices), my protein powder with peanut butter blended with oat milk, and blended/Strained buldak Ramen with water/salt. ðŸ˜
