John Summit was better than I expected

Not going to lie, I kinda thought John Summit was the next iteration of douchey tech house. The clips I saw on tik tok gave me that impression big time. But honestly I was pretty impressed with his set. Played a lot of acid house/techno which was unexpected. I went in not wanting to like him but I left a fan. Was anyone else pleasantly surprised by his set? I spent a bit of time at all the closing sets and thought his was far and away the best.
