So I've been going down a bit of an internet hole as I learn about what has happened to AQW and Artix Entertainment in the last several years. It's a bit confusing, so I'm wondering if anyone can help clear it up for me and anyone else whose curious. What has happened to the company and what is its current state?

Just some background. I used to be really into aqw and the other games. I was one of the top 20 most active users on the forums and I have several items in the suggestion shop (dragon's courage, knight of the shining armor, and in other AE games). I was fairly friendly with some of the devs too but left in 2013-ish.

Before I left, the chaos lord saga was still going and AE seem to have a growing team with AQ3D beginning development. The head staff on AQW seemed to be composed of Artix, Cysero, Beleen, Alina, Dage, and J6.

Who's working on AQW and in AE now?

Who has left and what is the drama behind it?

Has the game's story of the 13 chaos lords concluded? Is the game any good anymore?

And just another thing. I still follow a lot of artists and am curious about their positions:

Did/does Laken/comoglio work as an artist on the game?

Are tyronius and darkon artists for the game now? I'm confused about their position with them taking commissions and whatnot.

What happened to skyline and solrac?
