Hi, first time posting on Reddit at all so sorry if I'm doing something wrong. I've always been scared to comment on gen fic mostly if the author only writes wholesome gen fic and nothing else because since they don't write anything problematic themselves, I can't be sure that they won't be the kind of person that might block me if they see something they find problematic in my profile, and since I like showering the fics I like with comments and don't like getting blocked or making people upset, I just don't read them even though I very much want to. I don't read fics I wouldn't comment on. It was easier to ignore before joining this fandom with two characters that I like not being in a relationship, and their ship version is problematic, because that makes it worse. I don't want to only read the ship version but I'm irrationally scared of an anti jumpscare, help 🙃
