So the thing is, I'm 80% a hoper but some part still bugs me to think otherwise. That's the only thing that Im confused about. So anyways my question is that, what does eren really want? What are his motivations? Which is more precious to him? his friends? Or freedom/paradise future? The manga ending answers that his friends are more precious to him. But now that we are taking into account that (according to you hopechads) ANR is the true ending which Isayama wanted to go with, in which eren goes with the full rumbling, basically killing his friends and securing future for paradise and achieving his freedom. But we have seen many times that eren wants his friends to live long lives, so I dont understand what he really wants? Like i get it he lives his life with regret after that which I kinda like but is that it? Or is there smth else Im missing? If I'm missing smth kindly respond guys.
