RG353V not recognizing SD2

Whenever I put in my SD2 with ROMs the Linux system won't recognize it and only shows I have "12 games" which is really not games. When I boot up Android it shows games on the SD card but can't play them on that side either. Have only had the device for a few hours and just want to play it. Am not tech savvy at all and it took me an hour just to learn how to patch Pokemon Unbound to Fire Red Squirrels. Any help appreciated.
