So I'm new to computer gaming, got a nice cheaper laptop half a year ago, I'm going to upgrade to a more expensive desktop soon seeing as I enjoy it so much, but I refuse to buy AMD.
Every week I have to uninstall the Driver application and reinstall it. I consistently get an error stating my driver version is not up to date, even though it is, and the app refuses to open. I tried cleaning the registry and manually changing the driver version within, to no avail.
For some reason Vulkan only works while AMD is functional, despite Nvidia being present. And I need Vulkan to play a specific game for better FPS. So again every single week prehaphs multiple times a week, I am uninstalling and reinstalling the AMD driver. And then the AMD uninstaller driver tool does not do the best job and has caused other people errors, and myself for a few minutes.
How does a company not solve a problem that has been out for years and still continously pump out new products? They take the time to make new products, but not fix their own bugs?
And finally whilst reinstalling the AMD launcher weekly, the computer screen goes blank, until logged in. I have a laptop. I had to acquire a second monitor to see what I was doing in order to finish the installation process. Garbage
