Asus G15 Advantage Thermal Issue?
Post Body

Hey guys, like the title says I have an asus G15 strix advantage edition QY model. 300Hz screen, ryzen 9 5900HX, RX 6800m, 16gb of stock RAM, 512gb of stock SSD and a new 1Tb PCI3 nvme2 crucial SSD. I used to play fine with the system, it never gave me the performance I have heard about it but never run any real tests on it. I recently moved to US, ever since I came here my laptop has been acting worse. I think there is a slight slow down on the fans, I am not sure. Armory Crate says they are spinning in correct rpms, but they are less noisy then before. I am playing a skyrim modlist in a performance profile even then it is stuttering. It has shut down itself a few times, I think from overheating. Yesterday I tried to do TimeSpy test and it didn't even finish, my laptop shut itself. The thing is I bought this laptop 2 years ago. Hadn't done any repair. I thought that was the reason but when I opened the laptop a week ago to install the new ssd, I've checked and cleaned the fans and it was not bad as I expected. 2 weeks ago something weird happened and after a driver update even though device manager and bios saw my gpu, the rest of the windows started not seeing it but somehow after lots of tries the drivers got fixed and everything started working. So I am not sure what is wrong. I haven't changed anything to make it suddenly perform worse. Maybe it is the LM/paste getting worse? Because I am assuming it is thermals and I only have 2 guesses, either fans or LM. How do I troubleshoot this? Any help would be nice?
