RX 5300 custom cooling solution gremlins after 22.10.1

Post Body

Hello.

Earlier this year, I bought 2x Noctua A9x14 PWM fans, ziptied them together, used the Noctua YC1 adapter to unify them and connect the contraption to the VGA fan pinout with a Gelid PWM to VGA adapter.

This whole thing worked well for months until the 22.10.1 driver where, miraculously, post update the fans would spin in almost to full speed regardless of the GPU load.

Upon returning the factory shroud fan to the RX 5300, everything is back to normal and with the fresh driver works without hiccups.

Driver rollback did nothing, with the custom cooling solution sensors didn't detect fan spin post update so I'm guessing it could be related to PWM adapter or severely related to overall power draw.

Any ideas or brainstorming directions into implementing back the Noctuas is welcome. Thanks!
