Upgrading from 2600 to 5800X and want a new cooler too for around $50
Post Body

I finally decided to upgrade my 2600 to a 5800X (or 5900X if I can get a good enough deal for it). I still have my B-450 F Gaming from Asus so the AM4 socket is already there :D.

However, my PC location isn't quite the best. It's in one of those open desks that has a specific slot for PCs but it's also in a corner. It has okay enough airflow to not have heating issues but does collect dust kinda fast. I wanted to get a good cpu cooler for the new cpu but I'm not sure what's a good option.

I'm avoiding AIO since I don't have plans to overclock anything beyond factory settings. I might go back to video editing which is why I'm leaning towards the higher core counts which could also mean it would generate more heat depending on how much content I'm working with. It would be amazing if I can find a good low profile cpu cooler. I'm trying to keep the cpu cooler cost around $50.

I should add that I ordered the MX-4 thermal paste separately as I heard the MX-5 had a pretty big recall so I'm gonna use the stock paste for some time and if I'm not happy with those temps, I can just swap it out easy.

Currently using a Cryorig M9a cooler but hated installing it and it eats up a lot of space. It is barely not touching my RAM
