Hey guys.
I decided to do a BIOS update this morning because I had been having some small issues and figured it couldn't hurt. All I did was update the BIOS, but my games have a fraction of the FPS they did before.
CSGO, for instance, would usually be locked at 400fps. Now I'm on 100fps on 4:3 low settings, on a high refresh rate monitor.
Valorant also dropped significantly. From regularly hitting 230-250fps to now struggling to see between 70-100.
Is there any way I can fix this? I have no idea what the original revision was, as it's whatever my mobo shipped with. I looked in the Radeon overlay and neither my CPU or GPU was going above 30% usage. Is there something obvious I'm missing?
Specs:
R7 1700x @ 3.9GHz, 1.35v RX 5600XT, nothing OC'd just a fan curve Use a h100i for cooling, but Temps look fine (40-50C on both card and cpu) 16gb g.skill @ 3200Mhz (after BIOS update I did have to re-enter this, but it should be fine because it's how it's always ran). 750w EVGA PSU MSI B350 PC MATE mobo
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I think I have to be missing something obvious, but I'd hate if something went wrong during the update.
