ATI (Advanced Training Institute) was most popular in the 80s and 90s. I was born into it during the time when our annual conferences rented out the university of TN and thousands of families attended. The beliefs of those in ATI varied but shared a lot of the most fundamental beliefs. No pants for women, homeschool your children, have as many babies as possible, arranged marriages, and unquestioning devotion and obedience to the males in charge were the most common themes. I ended up walking away without a dime in the bank and needing the help of a domestic violence organization when all was said and done. AMA
