Good Day AMA!
I thought that this would be a fun and enlightening AMA to hold as it explores the nature of dating norms between body types, versus what we may actually feel inside ourselves.
My story: I have a lifetime of sports involvement behind me. From five years old beginning with a career in soccer, all the way through multiple swimming/track and field events in my later years of school.
As such, naturally, my social circles have frequently consisted of relatively fit people my whole life. And by extension, the three serious (and a couple causal) relationships I have had have all been on the fit/athletic/average at most side of things.
When I wrapped up my schooling career at 23 and entered real life, however, my sports have slowed down and as a result I have noticed a palpable change taking place.
No longer confined to one social group and being in multiple different environments now, I have noticed that my eye for attraction has changed a bit.
My eyes began to linger more on the women with more size to them- curvier, heavier bodies. Bodies that certainly fall into the “BBW” range.
It isn’t like I actively disliked or rejected the body type prior to that point- it’s just that my life was structured in such a way that I never really seriously considered the body type.
Now though, a year later- it’s truly the body type I am exclusively attracted to. I love it. I love the way that usually, with more weight, at least one of those more traditionally “womanly” characteristics (breasts, belly, butt, hips, thighs, etc.) become somewhat exaggerated.
I love how more weight can take such different shapes on different women- how one may carry it in a delightfully top-heavy “apple” shape, while another may have a more modest top but larger lower-body. I truly love every permutation and combination!
If my little story has spurned any questions in your mind, I’d love to hear them!
