No living children and I've needed a life saving abortion. Most were early losses before 8 weeks but I've also had an ectopic pregnancy and our daughter was stillborn at 21 weeks.
I know a lot of women go through pregnancy losses but it isn't talked about often so I thought I'd answer some questions if anyone has them.
Edit: I do have a diagnosis (Robertsonian Balanced Translocation)
Thank you so much for all the kind words and similar stories. It breaks my heart that there are so many of us but I'm glad we have a space to talk about it
Edit 2: adoption is a complicated decision that comes with a lot of weight. Please please do some basic research about it or read some of my below comments for my thoughts on this. I am not opposed to adoption, it just isn't as simple as driving down to an orphanage and grabbing a baby.
I feel like there's a line between AMA and attack other people's decisions. I'm going to step away from this post now, so that I can rest and focus on my mental and physical health. I've asked the moderators to lock it as well. To those of you who were kind, I really appreciate it ❤️
