I have had therapy for this on multiple occasions. I have an ASD diagnosis. I graduated from university this year (BA Psychology), going on to do a Masters (MSc Sports and Exercise Psychology).

So sorry for your experiences, I was groomed as a child as well. Do you find you have lingering trust issues or trouble in relationships?
Absolutely! It brings up that internal discomfort around it - I had bad things happen to me, I was a part of it even if I wasn’t responsible. It feels disgusting and dirty and sometimes the idea of others finding out feels like my worst nightmare. I don’t know how half my friends would react.

I totally understand you, it was hardest for me in the few years after it stopped! It's unique how much it affects our thinking around sex and such, especially when it happened for us at such formative ages.
