I voted for Biden in 2020, and am a registered democrat. I’ve voted blue my whole life (including smaller elections) but am going to flip to conservative this election.
AMA.
I definitely can’t see the logic switching now. Especially with the clear and present danger to our democracy that is eminent. If there is even a slight chance of project 2025 coming true then I’d vote for a ham sandwich 1st.
I agree with the sentiment but voting 3rd party is just throwing your vote away. Unless you have an exceptionally charismatic candidate it’s a lost cause. I’d like for a 3rd party to form in the center and start growing their base. Unfortunately in this election it’s a lost cause
I tend to believe it’s nothing but a lot of the people behind it are former trump cabinet members and staffers. People likely to be on his next staff. So to completely ignore it as impossible isn’t giving it the seriousness that is warranted. I’m not unhappy enough presently to risk it. I would imagine Trump will be emboldened by facing 0 recourse for his failed coup attempt last time. I find the lack of accountability for attempting to subvert the will of the people alarming. To the point I fear what is next if he is elected. I preface that by saying I try not to believe the political fear mongers. It is just the seriousness if they are right that is the real issue.

Agree with you wholeheartedly. I’m a centrist but Mega conservatism is scaring me blue. Wanting complete and total control while being the minority is insane. The electoral college might be Americas undoing soon than we think.
