I work at a PE firm that serves as the family office for a very wealthy family in the northeast. The CEO uses a temp agency to place executive assistants (not exactly a traditional agency). He is willing to pay much more than they’re worth but the women understand that they’ll need to satisfy who they’re working for. To my bosses credit, he requires the secretaries have at least two other offers so they don’t accept anything under duress. They go month to month and then we can decide if we want to keep the EA or make a change. We allowed to choose from a batch of women. AMA.
