Iām middle aged, about 5 years from retirement.
Professionally: I used to be jealous about people in my profession getting positions I wanted, even though I already had a good position.
Personally: I used to be jealous about my spouse having attraction to other people, even though I had the same.
Monetarily: I used to be jealous of people with more money than I.
No longer. This has led my spouse and I to an open marriage, and we both are happier than ever and more in love with each other, and having better sex together and with others.
My conjecture is that it comes from a good sense of self-confidence.
Ask me anything.
