Hey there,
So I ended up on this subreddit after learning that PE devices can reverse the effects of peyronie's... A fair amount of studies show positive results and lots of other information on treatment that includes using PE devices.
I started to notice I had extreme pain whenever I got an erection about 4 years ago..
I then wen't through a period of at least 2 years where I was on medication that lowered to straight up destroyed all testosterone which mean I kinda never had an erection for 2 years.
I saw a few doctors who told me there was nothing they could do.. I couldnt get off the medication, peyronie's wasnt life threatening and theres no cure (he said) and low testosterone isnt a big deal... (his words)
finally I found a good doctor who cared about my livelihood not just being alive... he adjusted my meds and got me on TRT.. I started to get erections again, started to masterbate and have sex again after years of abstinence... only to discover my penis had changed shape... it now had a indent curve like an hourglass towards the top and worse.. I had lost at least an inch and a half, maybe more... hard to know exactly but I remember when I was younger measuring it and what it was compared to now and it could be close to 2 inches shorter...
luckily I wasnt too small before so many could say its not the end of the world.. but damnit I want that size back!
so doing the reading there is so much mixed information... I keep stumbling upon medical/clinic websites where theyre wanting me to book a consultation where they have a range of options from some light impulse/shock therapy to injections to surgery..
followed by use of a PE device or other specialised devices.
So my question to this subreddit is, has anyone here been through peyronie's ? experienced it ?
does anyone know or advise on the best route to go down ?
Should I be talking to a professional or is just going ahead using a PE device enough?
Any advice, experience information or tips etc greatly appreciated.
