A little bit of background, my landlord has a massive issue with leaving things on the door. Papers mostly, and while I understand that's how most people leave notes to others, it's a hardcore trigger for my wife and I. She has been told, as stated in my message to her, that it has been addressed multiple times to please not leave stuff on our door. She still continues to do so, and apparently ignores my requests. Hense my comment about it, and my response. There are MANY other things that she does/doesn't do as a landlord but that's not what I'm questioning about. Just the notes on the door.
I came home this morning (I work overnights at a factory) to another note on our door. As I said, it's a trigger, and I have an unholy temper. Also after working all night, I was already ill tempered, so I needed to take some time to cool down. I waited until this afternoon, and away from my home to send the first message to her. The response almost made me leave work to "talk about it". But I kept my cool, and responded back as calmly as I could.
AITAH? Was anything I said disrespectful? "Out of pocket"?
