I (22f) have been dating my boyfriend (36m) almost 8 months now. A couple months back I found out he had been being dishonest and is serial cheater. But after time apart and working things out the best we could, we are involved again but in a version of polyamory all our own. For a month or 2 now there has been multiple times were my boyfriend has blown off plans with me entirely, or said heâs âon the wayâ every 30 minutes for 3hrs until he finally comes back home. This only happens when heâs at this friend, Alexâs, apartment. After I found poppers in his dresser drawer and numbing anal lube in the car, it was confirmed heâs been sleeping with Alex. Now, in my book when ur hanging out with a dude overnight, multiple times a week, more so then you hang with your gf, AND ur fucking him. Thatâs your boyfriend. So when I called my actual boyfriend to confirm he could give me a ride home from work, (I had seen A LOT of text notifications from Alex on my guys phone while being dropped off) he said he was chilling at his homies on the river. So I responded with âAh thatâs sick have fun with your boyfriendâ. My guy exploded calling me a âdisrespectful bitchâ and bailed on giving me a ride home which is an hour away from home at midnight. He said I was being an âungrateful entitled dramaticâ. and that there wasnât a deeper connection there so he was just a fuck not his boyfriend and for me to walk back. But like I said if he spends more time there then w me, and he fucks him?. I donât think Iâm in the wrong at all. (Eventually my roommate got me from work 2.5hrs after closing btw) Am I being unreasonably snarky with the my boyfriendâs boyfriend thing or am I just being real? After all the cheating I feel I have the right to make a jab once. Am I the asshole?
