He’s a very authoritative and mean individual, but I can’t help but feel bad knowing I was involved in his termination.
I along with many staff believe he’s a grade A asshole, but just about gets away with it. For some context into who he is, my first introduction to him did not include any sort of formality, he met me and immediately picked up on something I did wrong and began publicly shaming me for it. He followed this by doing the same to anyone who was in his vicinity.
So the first opportunity I found to get him out I pounced. I noticed he can be very touchy with certain members of staff, I’ve discussed it with them and they said it’s very strange to be treated inappropriately by a senior, but not enough to report. I luckily haven’t had the misfortune of being sexually harassed by him haha. I went straight to a manager and told her he makes me, along with many others, feel uncomfortable due to inappropriate touching. Not knowing this was going to trigger an onset of complaints about him.
So it wasn’t only my claim against him, there were lots of grievances against him from the get go. But I can’t help but feel bad that I may have spearheaded the campaign for the end of his career.
