I'm M19 and I recently went out on a 2 night camping trip with a group, 2 of my mates drove me home since I am not able to drive by myself yet, we went off road tracking the way back to my town, but I wanted to go the back way into my families property which was also a good spot for some 4wd, so we went to the gate for the back entrance but it had been padlocked with a coded lock the other day after we had a possible intruder enter on Monday last, which I had completely forgotten about until i seen the lock on the chain, side tangent: my grandmother is selling the property she lives on and is getting it ready to put on market, so my mother and I are staying on the property in question, which is owned by my grandmother and her 7 other siblings, and we are being kept under watch (figuratively) since my mother is a medicinal smoker and I'm a High School Drop-out with some traumatic experiences, but back to the situation, my grandmother was informed by me ahead of time to be prepared to explain any alarm of a car being at the back gate since our neighbours who live just north a bit of the gate was the one who informed my uncle about the last people, now my mum is angry at me and idk who else in the family might be talking behind our backs, I regretted the decision since I even went to the gate and I am going to apologise to whoever does speak to me about it, but all I wanted to do was some short good ol 4wd fun with some mates which I only see some of them once or twice a year, does that make me an asshole or was this just an innocent mistake being overexaggerated by overprotective family members? because I'm now stressed to my stomach about it and can't stop freaking out about certain members of my family that may do something.
