AITAH for not allowing my significant other to be around for a family function?

I am a 30 year old male, she is 32. One of my parents has a birthday coming up in a couple of weeks and has requested during that time for us to spend some time together going and doing a few things they enjoys before the family and friends arrive that weekend. I've made my significant other aware and she is really mad and offended and thinks that my parent hates her and doesn't want her around. AITAH for respecting my parents wish for their birthday?
