As some of you might know, pride is tomorrow. My girlfriend ended up telling me she wants to go a week ago so I sent an email about it as soon as I could. We were planning on going at 3:30, when she gets off and 2 hours before I originally get off. Turns out my boss put me up to a new position he’s been talking about for MONTHS (5 more or less), and my hours are gonna be noon to 5. No real warning except a half assed email. I don’t get a pay increase, in fact the girl doing my new position got a pay decrease.

Anyways, my boss hasn’t gotten back to me. I sent it a week ago, and still nothing. Would I be in the wrong to just not show up to work? Also am I in the wrong to ask my girlfriend to try to ditch work with me? She also kinda does my position, but I supervise her.
