Tw: death and suicide

28F living in VA while my uncle, and grandparents live in IL. A year and half a go my uncle had two cats and he decided to end his life. In his note, his last wishes were for my grandparents to care for his cats, which they have been doing since. My grandmother just passed away unexpectedly and my grandfather is decently disabled. I stepped up to take my grandfather in to come live in our home and provide care for him. I don’t know what to do with these cats… while I want to honor my uncle’s final wish. We have an 8 year old dog that doesn’t like cats and our house isn’t set up for cats either. I wouldn’t want to put them in a shelter but maybe work with a local place that helps cats get adopted. One cat is 16 and one cat is 9. AITAH?
