He left my son alone
Post Body

AITAH or am I over reacting here? Went to hang out with a guy Iā€™ve been seeing since December, weā€™ve had our kids play together multiple times and have done movie outings in the past. Today we took the kids to the movies. I suddenly had a bad fit of heartburn and had to go to the bathroom to try and get myself together because I couldnā€™t sit still in my seat because I was in pain. The asked the guy I was with if it was okay if my son stayed with him and his son while I ran to the bathroom, Iā€™d explained the situation to him and he said okay. I was in there 7 minutes tops and in that time his son had to use the bathroom and my son didnā€™t. Instead of just taking them both with them he left my 6 year old alone in the theater. The movie we were watching turned out to be a little scary for kids there age. (Oops). He didnā€™t shoot me a text or anything. So needless to say I was a little irritated at the fact that he just left him. I didnā€™t make a scene and I wasnā€™t nasty but I did ask why he left him and his response was ā€œhe didnā€™t have to go, what was I supposed to wait for you?ā€ And was being an ass about it. Then when we got back to his car he was going on about how I was acting like he purposely left him in harms was and that he made a mistake and blah blah blah. Wouldnā€™t even let me get a word in. Jumped right to defense. Am I wrong for being mad af?
