So, there's a female friend of mine who is also my ex-girlfriend. Now, look, Id like to believe that I'm not holding any grudges, but let me know what you guys think:

Last night she sent me a photo of her, and asked me how she looks. Knowing her, she loves compliments, so I said she looked good cause she did.

I then said, "Is that enough validation for tonight?" In a joking manner, and she said no.

From that point forward I didn't want to continue giving her compliment because...well, she's dating someone.

After refusing a couple of times she made the comment, "I'll go invest in someone else"

I responded, "Yes. Like your boyfriend"

And that ticked her off a bit. Was that petty of me? Perhaps.
