Nice easy one. My fiancé's birthday is about 4 weeks away, and she's insisting that she has everything she needs with me and our daughter. Romantic and all, but as she got me a a £200 smart watch for my birthday, I feel I should get her something.
The thing is, we got into a big argument over this, and now I have a dilemma. I know I should get her a present, (was planning a weekend away in Paris) but I am on the fence over whether I should risk her wrath over this, especially as she's already threatened canceling our wedding in September if I do.
EDIT. We had a long chat, and basically she is just stressed and worried and overreacted because this isn't her first marriage ( it lasted less than a year) and she doesn't want the same thing to happen again.
We are all OK now, a good 2 hour chat is all it took.
Thanx everyone.
