For context: I've been raising the child as my own since he was 3 months old, bio dad not in picture at all, paying for childcare, food, clothes, etc.
We moved in together about 7 months ago, I brought the bed and threw away my couch and she threw away her bed and we kept her couch.
The toddler is two and still sleeps in the bed with us almost every night. We fight about it constantly cause I feel like we never get time for ourselves and to have a relationship outside of being parents.
We've been fighting pretty badly recently and this was one of her compromises that she wants to make this relationship work. Am I the asshole here?
I was in this exact same situation maybe 15 years ago. The kid needs to sleep in its own bed. You are being used.
