For context: I (M18) don’t have any money in my bank account besides like $60 in my savings account. I don’t get paid until this Thursdays, but my mom is asking for $20 out of my savings account.
I told her I had money in my savings account as sort of general information in a conversation we had this morning.
She asked for $20 in gas from me, and I’m a little frustrated, because I’m constantly trying to save money, but I always seem to find a way to go back to square one, again.
Am I being unreasonable? Should I just give the money to her?
She said she’d pay be back, but the last time I pestered her about giving money back to me when she said she’d give it back, she got mad at me and went on this rant about how she’s a single mother, and that I should be ashamed for asking for the money back.
I’d appreciate any comments
